Shall I pop in Borat??...Not a third-world country? Shall I pop in Borat??

In all reality we are steadily moving towards a single world government. Local entities on the state and national level are being replaced by mega-conglomerations serving the private and commercial interests of a select few world elite. These world elite know no boundaries and borders. Soon, if not already, a Russian oligarch and a Chinese tycoon will have much more influence on the policies and laws of your national government than any native to your countries, unless that native is part of the world elite.

That is -- the importnant policies and laws. Trade laws, commercial laws, decisions to go to war, etc.

The rest of us peasants are left to duke it out over non-essential issues, such as gay marriage. Distract the populace with shiny objects of no value, while you raid the treasury -- its the oldest trick in the book.

The only weakness in your argumet, Cristi, is that people in under-developed countries dont even have the (false) appearance. They are powerless, and noone attempts to hide this fact. Only in the 1st world do they bother with the charade.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04589224891449600660noreply@blogger.com
